Where this chapter of our story begins
On August 13, 2025, our second chance was given by an incredible gift. We don't know who he was, or how he lived his life. But we do know that we will be forever grateful for his forethought that his heart be donated to a person in need.
On a day that will forever hold a special place in our hearts, Bill received a second chance at life — a precious gift that we can hardly begin to describe.
It was on August 13 that we received the incredible act of kindness from a stranger. A selfless individual made the decision to donate his heart, providing hope and a new beginning. Although we may never know this person's name or the life he led, we are eternally grateful for the choice he made. His heart now beats within, a constant reminder of the importance of compassion and the impact we can have on others, even after we leave this world.
